The Voight-Kampff test has become obsolete; identifying replicants is faster and easier. He takes an unhuman beating in BR, but in 2049 he can't put a dent in K and the other replicants, capable of having a soul? I can't quite get past it. Think of it as an updated Voight-Kampff test. If there's been a more sympathetic villain in science fiction than Roy Batty, I can't believe they made a nearly three-hour sequel to Blade.
